Gifted and Talented Education (GATE)


LAUSD Board of Education has adopted a plan for Gifted and Talented Education (GATE), which includes District policies and procedures for identifying gifted learners in seven categories. The District’s policies and procedures for gifted/talented identification are in accordance with California State requirements and the District’s agreement with the Office for Civil Rights.




Educación de Alumnos Dotados/ Talentosos


La Mesa Directiva de Educación del LAUSD ha adoptado un plan para la Educación de Alumnos Dotados/ Talentosos (GATE por sus siglas en inglés), que incluye los reglamentos y procedimientos del Distrito para identificar a los estudiantes como dotados en siete categorías. Los reglamentos y procedimientos del Distrito para la identificación como dotados/talentosos están de acuerdo con los requisitos del Estado de California y el acuerdo del Distrito con la Oficina de Derechos Civiles.
